Yes, I've heard about the Mercer. I've just never spent time in Houston. Also heard about the art museums there. Dallas has good art museums (and trying to get better) but what I love are the museums in Fort Worth. And the Botanic Gardens. I'll have to find a link to a conservatory there that just reopened after 3 years. Only seen pictures but it looks spectacular.
