I would guess cylindraceus instead of rectispinus because of the spines, but that's a non-expert opinion. The spines are not a match for rectispinus as I understand the plant.

Karen, would you have a problem if we moved this image to the generic Ferocactus entry? Or can someone more expert than myself confirm cylindraceus? I'm reviving this old thread because I think we should take action here.
