Hi Yall! Speaking of Subway having most locations with less square footage and less expensive equipment, reminds me of a popular spot here.
A couple of women, early 30s, bought a former greenhouse. They turned it into a successful biscuit and coffee venue that offers live entertainment.
They didn't change greenhouse format at all! The entrance takes you into small room where they have couple of tables and benches made by the high school wood shop. At the counter, they make regular and special coffee where they pour hot water over coffee in filter in each cup. Then they cook special biscuits in the small oven, almost like counter toaster oven. They have sweet biscuits, like apple cinnamon with a fluffy cream and savory biscuits that can come with filling like pimento cheese.
Then after ordering your coffee and biscuit, you walk into the former greenhouse where there are still plants and vines growing. They have more wooden table lined up. The decor is banners with positive quotes.
They have large fans. No AC here in the humid south. I never thought they would survive. Now I hear they are expanding to the next town.
Maybe I should buy a franchise in The Greenhouse!

On the topic of biscuits, I saw the Taste of Home buffalo chicken crescent roll appetizers.
Since buffalo sauce and blue cheese aren't my favorites, I looked for variations. Then I saw the Pillsbury site that has a creative version that looks festive for holidays! There are also different recipes including bacon cheeseburger crescents and chicken pot pie and taco and sweet Hawaiian BarBQ chicken crescent ring! Also, casseroles! And the Chicken Parmesan Crescent Bread Loaf will look like you spent all day in the kitchen!
