This palm is so elusive.....walking around at ground level, its lost to the eye. But I was up on a ladder today hanging sone fans, and, well, here it was in all its glory

This rainforest understory palm is so gorgeous, I should have bought 3-4 over 15 years ago, and planted them in a clump. Because this palm is SOLITARY. Unless I can buy another, this is the only specimen I will ever have. It is about 12 feet tall now, and won't get much taller. I wish I had had the presence of mind in my younger collecting days to get more than one
