Shannon,

You should be able to separate pieces of your sans when you look at the roots. If the babies have roots, you can remove them.

I may be wrong on the problem but that would be my first guess. I've not fought fungus on Sans before but it could be an issue. Do any of these photos look like what you have going on? http://www.plantfinder.com/Ser...

If you want to try it, you could take cuttings of the good pieces and try rooting them. I've tried it a few times but am certainly not an expert at that.

I do believe the pale one I have is going to be S. moonshine http://stokestropicals.plants....

S moonlight appears to have a broader blade. http://www.almostedenplants.co...

Actually the birds nest Sansevieria is green and yellow (not white) when exposed to proper lighting. That photo makes the color look even more washed out.

We had a tough summer full of 100° plus temps so it stayed in the shade of the porch. This winter on an enclosed porch hasn't provided the best lighting.

I do need to divide it and will gladly share. I'm just not sure how many pieces there are so I'll offer on a first come basis.

Please mail me and we'll go from there. If anyone lives in a colder area, I will put you on the list and send it when temps warm up.
