I don't use the EZ Clone propagator for either of these plants. I'm also air layering a few Winterberries and Hydrangeas outside. I'll know soon which method worked best.

What are you propagating?

Hey there.
In winter I am propagating pittosporums silver sheen. From the hardwood tips.and tips only. I am using a stronger hormone strength powder for the hardwood layers.
I also propagate cistus cuttings.
Cistus grows very well in any kind of soil.
It needs plenty of care and is a perrenial flowering shrub.
I usually start cuttings after flowering season is finished after march "summer" in winter or autumn is the best time to do these plants.
I am going for rosemary tuscan blue cuttings in winter or autumn.
Wish me luck! Hope you go well with your berry layering.
Pot pig.cuttings propagator.
