These Echium 'Mr. Happy' seedlings are interesting.....variable in color. The big on in front I let grow again this season because I'm curious what it will do...though I hated the Pepto Bismol Pink bloom.....
The stand in back got hit by frost, it also had the two types of leaves on the same plant, large, wider leaves and narrow leaves both...the narrow leaf stalks shot up and gave me lavender flowers, bottom leaves wiped out....
The front ones, this year, leggier, lost bottom foliage....
This one I love...no tall stalk and bloom is a mix sort of, pink and blue that makes it more Purple, 3rd year in ground...
I've threatened that pink one in front and may have to carry through on that...the PINK is not endearing...from anywhere in the open area, looking out the front window...what I see is THIS PINK THING...I could cut off the two blooming stalks, but I see more waiting beneath them... they wiil bloom soon...lol.
