Proliferations that occurred naturally on a daylily scape should be genetically identical to the parent plant. They should be genetically the same as a fan with crown divided from its clump.
They may be a little disturbed in their growth for a while. That is because to go from being part of the scape to going back to being a vegetative fan their hormones and possibly other parts of their physiology are confused. So they may not grow quite 100% normally until they settle back to completely normal physiology. However, that is not a genetic effect.
