You really should write a book Joanne! I would buy it without a second guess. And you have all the photos so you wouldn't even need to hire a photographer!
Your windowbox, in the top left corner of the first pic you posted, has inspired us to plant ours like that! We have a similar size box outside our sliding door and you choices of plants are beautiful!
Heres a picture of our box from 2008, last years was a failure, so this year we are going with your plan.
