I'm considering the following Antennaria (pussytoes) species from my state
in order to provide additional food resources for Vanessa virginiensis
(American painted lady) butterflies. Additionally, I thought I could use
the low-growing habit and silvery fuzzy look to my advantage in pots,
borders, etc.

Antennaria howellii (Howell's pussytoes)

Antennaria neglecta (field pussytoes)

Antennaria parlinii (Parlin's pussytoes)

Antennaria plantaginifolia (woman's tobacco)

Antennaria solitaria (singlehead pussytoes)

For those interested, the link below shows what might be native to your
area if you're in the USA or Canada. Click on the subordinate taxa tab for
the maps.

Anyone else provide a number of plants for Vanessa virginiensis (American
painted lady) butterflies? What species?
Always looking for interesting plants for pollinators and food! Bonus points for highly, and pleasantly scented plants.
