I'm still new to gardening and learning about which plants grow in what types of environments.

I'm trying to figure out if the amount of sunlight an area of my garden receives will be too much for the type of plants I would like to grow. I am interested in growing philodendron rojo congo or maybe anthuriums. I know these plants are mostly indoor plants or shade loving plants. The area of my garden I would like to plant these receives a few hours of direct sunlight and other hours of shaded sunlight. I know it's the "ideal" spot but I am wondering if the plants would work. I live in South Florida (zones 10a/10b). If these plants have no chance of survival, does any one have any other suggestions for similar alternatives that would prosper?

Thank you!
