Wrap them in newspaper only (remember to add a tag or scrap of paper in with a name) and pack them into a cardboard box. Don't moisten the roots (if they have any ). By the time they get to their destination, they will be ready to plant.
Damp paper towels, Seran Wrap and baggies will cause rot. You want them to travel and arrive dry.
