Put that cardboard down and cover it with grass clippings leave broken tree limbs and soil. You are going to be amazed. No weeds and the best garden space ever. I promise you....You will never dig again.

If you do not have a reasonable price nursery just get some bags from HD or Lowes a couple bags at a time.
