Lovely water lilies Smiling Makes me look at them at a different perspective and appreciate their beauty for a change. Where I grew up, they grow unabatedly down the river, sometimes, you cannot even see the river anymore because it is just full of them. Unfortunately then it becomes a problem for drainage, as it clogs the river arteries heavily and if not removed terrible flooding come rainy season. On the other hand, there is a cottage industry that thrives as well, the leaves are used in making nice slippers Big Grin

I guess on a smaller pond scale, they are nice to have, easier to control Big Grin Just watch your drains!
