I've got a new idea for my little garden for next year. I've seen those arches made from cattle panels to grow cucumbers and such. Has anyone tried that with tomatoes?

I'm thinking an arch with the tunnel running north/ south with tomatoes on each side (peak of arch would be about 6-7 feet up). Then tomatoes could grow up one side and down the other. I could pick them inside the tunnel. I'd also grow shade living things like lettuce and carrots inside. Maybe a nice row of flowers away one end for pollinators. Ideally I'd grow peas on it as well since they'd be done before the tomatoes got huge.

I'd do a second arch with peppers (I know they don't need the support but they'd be planted on the sides). Then beans could grow in the arch itself with more shade loving plants inside. Maybe basil on the south edge.
