It is a miracle that something is blooming after the flood in June. Only poppies and a few annuals from seeds have disappeared. I have planted so many sweet peas this year, but only 3 or 4 have grown. But still most bloom.
There are those who love water or are not afraid of water.

Daylilies are unpretentious plants.
One of my favorites is hydrangea.
Lythrum traditionally flowers near water. Natural plant, but I love to see it in my garden. Bees and bumblebees also love.
Blueberries responded to the rains with a large harvest.
