Good Morning gang,
J.B. outstanding looking dinner. I'm sure it was a splendid taste treat and all the more so with the fresh peas and carrots. Veal shanks has always been one of my favorites. Yours looked magnificent. Thumbs up

Sean...as always another tasty meal that is beautifully presented. Thank you for sharing. Good for you, also for spoiling the loved one on your weekend together. I tip my hat to you. It is nice to hear how devoted the two of you are to each other. Thumbs up I will have to look for the wine you mentioned. It sounds good.

Envious that others are able to work in the yard, garden and get projects accomplished around their places despite the heat. Here, it has just been too hot and dangerous to be outside doing anything. We just treat it much the way you folks would treat a blizzard going out for the necessities and staying inside the rest of the time, hunkering down and waiting for it to be over.

It is going to be a long wait. Temps for the next 2 weeks will be between 108-113. Slight improvement but still way too hot to be outside in earnest or any useful or meaningful way. And of course...NO rain. Angry Hoping the start of September will bring a huge improvement temperature wise.

No shortage of things to do inside though. Finished making the chili right before bed yesterday. Let it cool down over night. I can now portion it out and put in the freezer for later days and clean the kitchen properly. Will make the pork chops today. The husband should be home on time today Crossing Fingers! so it will be baked pork chops in mushroom gravy, stuffing and fresh peas for dinner.

Have to hop in shower and get ready for church service on line.
Catch you all later.
Happy Day All
