I was working on getting pots fertilized again today. After I got as many done as my body would allow, I had to water all of them in. I did 135 pots today. So, after getting those watered, I went to water some of the others that had been done in the past few weeks. I found 2 scapes on Red Cloud Mesa. I hadd 2 xlg fans last fall when i repotted it and now I have 10 fans and 2 scapes
It's one of my established hybrids that was repotted last Fall. I have 2 scapes in March!!! I may have blooms in April from my plants, not the new ones that I'm getting in or got in last Fall. I don't count those but I sure do enjoy them. I know that they can bloom early since they have come from warmer regions.
I'm really looking forward to blooms, early blooms or late blooms. My only problem is, I don't have time to get everything done that needs doing. I've worked really hard since I started the season last March 2011. I didn't stop repotting until November 11 and then I had to start getting things ready for the holidays. I started cleaning out my greenhouse the week after Christmas and i haven't stopped since. You know, this coul;d be considered work
, yeap I'm confused, I'm not supposed to be working. But, it sure can be fun!!!
