I have transplanted my grandmothers' peony taken from my aunts' garden where it was transplanted and bloomed with white flowers. It had a very large root ball and has had healthy leaves every year. I have lifted it a little but after 5 years there are still no blooms. All the other peonies in that bed bloom every year. Sometimes the leaves turn a burgundy colour. I estimate it is over 100 years old!! any ideas how to get blooms? grateful...
