I am in a northern climate (Canada) and I'm confined to doing my growing in an interior space (a downtown condo, no balcony). Luckily I have large unobstructed south facing windows! Smiling Back in 2017 I planted a bunch of plumeria seeds. I'm so delighted that this year I got to experience some blooms finally! I'm not too surprised, but they did not come true to seed type as per seed envelop. The first one was to be a Hawaiian Sunset, the the second was to be a Rainbow Lei. Definitely not true to type on both accounts.

The second one that is blooming right now has 6 petals. I was wondering how unusual that is? Is it likely this plant will always produce 6 petal flowers?

Very excited to be blessed with "from seed" indoor grown blooms in a northern climate. :)
