OK at the risk of seeming STUPID ... I bought that hot plate TO fry things in a frying pan..

Margaret's hot plate actually looks like an electric stove coil.. and THATS what I really wanted. The girl working in the kitchen dept in the store looked at me like I had two heads when I described it ... she was about 14 ...maybe with a mask I looked younger too?? Rolling on the floor laughing

AG ..will you help me? If I order a skillet, will you tell me what you intend to replace your old one with .. the hot plate gets hot...but there is something lost in the translation between the hot plate and the pan's inside..

@serpent I have used those pieces of tempered glass to cover bowling balls in glass for the garden
