So glad I found this thread while doing a search for alocasia!!! I'm in several Facebook groups & in one we are doing a secret Santa swap. My person listed alocasia as a favorite houseplant, actually said just getting started with them. I don't have any & thought I could buy some bulbs or baby starts or something. Holy crap at the prices I'm seeing on Facebook & etsy. I'm not paying over $30 for a plant for myself so I'm sure not paying close to that for a complete stranger. Can anyone point me to a reputable source? I'd still like to find a small one to give.
