@polymerous marilyn to you and warp. we are having a few liver issues with our dog, too. the vet put mia on a medication for 30 days; now we'll wait to see what the protein levels are on her next exam in a couple of weeks. she has seemed a little more perky of late, so i hope the meds are helping.
happy thanksgiving to all. we do have much to be thankful for, including our loved ones, the gardens, nga, and our four-footed loved ones. 🥰

our chicken roulade for two turned out well. it was quite easy. i threw the regular herb suspects; rosemary, thyme, sage, and sm. clove of garlic in a little food processor with some olive oil, pulsed until chopped. then brushed the herb mixture on pounded butterflied chicken breasts. rolled the chicken up like a jelly roll and secured the rolled chix with bacon strips. baked at 325 deg. until internal temp. registered 165* farenheit. didn't even have to use string or toothpicks to hold roll together. bacon strips acted as a tie. yummy, and chicken didn't get too dry because of the bacon. desert was a peach cobbler for the tummy, and 'autumn rain' desert for the eyes.
