The more you fertilize the more blooms. I use both liquid and granulated fertilizers. Keeps them in bloom all year. It looks like you are in a cold state. It might signal to a plant that it is time to rest and store the energy. Cut it back and offer the cuttings on this group. There is always room for one more Brugmansia. Group hug
