You can keep them on the small side if you divide them often, but Aureomarginata gets about 68 inches wide. Do you know which Aureomarginata do you have? I am assuming 'Montana'.
If you want something for a pot, focus on the mini hostas, the mice, etc. Mine are about four-five inches wide, I ordered a couple more and two have not come up yet, cameo and I also have blue mouse ears, frosted mouse ears, snow mouse and I ordered pandoras box and a couple others, I will be putting them into a styro pot that looks like a wiskey barrel. Here is what they look like now.
