Hello everyone!
This year I was really into making bee blocks for the native bees in my area. I have been using wood blocks with holes drilled in them, but next year I am looking at experimenting with materials a lot more. For one of my ideas, I was looking at maybe using a plant which I could grow for the bees to make the blocks from.
I am looking for a plant with the following characteristics:
Hollow stem center, roughly 3/16ths inch in diameter
Stem wall roughly an 1/8th inch thick
Grows fast and tall
Grows in low nutrient/sandy soil
