Miamiu said:I just bought a bodacious rhythm and blues. I thought this was just another indigo salvia, but when I saw a bloom at the store it looked like a mix of regular purple and blue. Do not know if it was a light effect, but it looked interesting to me so I bought it. Does anyone else have this plant?

Someone reported on Rhythm & Blues on a thread this summer... @gardenfish, was it you, or do you remember who had it?

I have also ordered it for spring, along with several others from FBTS for a new dry, lean bed I'm creating:

S. canariensis "Lancelot" (Wooly Canary Island sage)
S. glutinosa (yellow, know as Jupiter's Distaff)
S. sclarea "Piedmont" (Italian clary sage)
S Arizonica (Arizona blue sage)

I've had mixed results ordering live plants, but worse results starting from seed, and I can't find much of a selection at local nurseries, so ... Crossing Fingers!

Eric, our climates are so very different; it will be interesting to compare notes this summer!
