Betty I think it was a complete loss for the Trees I think I lost the majority of them I dont know if they can recover or not I have heard they are really touchy when they first leaf out and all of mine had broken buds and had just leafed out within the past 10 days so I dont know I am trying to find more info on them but struggling, it completly froze all of the buds off the Azaelas, the Iris all look like they have leaf spot around the ends now but its not, because they were in perfect condition a couple days ago so I guess we will see what happens its weird because I went out to spray them with water thinking with as cold as it was we would have frost but there was none I was always told they could take the cold just not the frost if you wash it off with water before the sun hits it your fine but that was not the case here I even covered some of the trees and Roses it made know difference they froze, heres the pics of the damage some of the bloom stalks that were ready to open I think are gone Im hoping the rest make it but we have had freezing temps into May here so still along ways to go.
