Honestly I never thought of slow cooker food being mushy!
Now the idea came to mind and I can see why leftovers are left over!
AG gave me chili idea. Though I didn't want to get out ingredients and have the London broil go bad.
After adding lemon juice to blend flavor, I repurposed the beef stew.
When I cooked food the last time, I roasted potatoes and carrots. Now they seem dry. Cut them up and added to stew. Put stew in medium Crock-Pot. Went for walk. Two hours later, stew was simmering. Added brown gravy mix and canned peas.
Then stew went into baking dish 😋
Topped with crescent rolls & butter!
Like magic, leftover beef stew and crescent roll dough became pot pie!
