Yesterday I looked up an Italian recipe using soft polenta, I found an interesting video of a Northern Italy recipe, I didn't have all the exact ingredients but close enough. Put a little sauce on the plate, add polenta, top with more sauce and sprinkle with parm. It was pretty good, we both liked it. I served crunchy baguette with it.

The sauce was a little thicker than hers

Polenta looked about the same but she put some bits of meat in it.

This is how she plated it, a little sauce on the plate, then the polenta, then more sauce on top, sprinkle with parm, but used less sauce, we love sauce. Big Grin

She said they used to have wooden tables that they would spread the sauce all over the table top, add the polenta, and more sauce, and everyone sat around the table and ate it with spoons. That wold sure cut down on dishes, we could have disposable plastic covers. Hilarious!
