Hi All! This grey, freezing February is only made better by seeds catalogs, garden planning and planning our new greenhouse we are building.

It will be a leanto style, long wall southern exposure against a woodstove heated, free standing garage. The footprint of the greenhouse will be 11x16, wood framing with 10mm double wall polycarbonate walls and roof. the low wall will be 6ft and the high point at approx 9'8".

My question is, has anyone moved heated air using a fan from an adjoining structure into their leanto greenhouse for heat? The woodstove is literally on the other side of the garage wall. We typically burn wood all the time during cold weather because we have water running to the garage. I will use a propane heater as supplemental heat when needed, but don't want to use it primary heat full time. We are located in zone 6A.

Cheryl

If anyone has, how did it work for you?

I do plan to put the fan on a thermostat. Thanks all and happy gardening,
