I've found you can put a lot of information on the tag using the P-touch software. These are some tags I just made for the plants that will be in our club plant program. On my personal tags, instead of NVDS 2023 I put branching and bud count. I like having everything right in front of me for help in making on the spot hybridizing decisions.

As for tags, I'm slowly transitioning new to the Kincaid stainless steel for all my own introductions and any newly acquired plants that I think I will be likely to keep for a long while.

I use the galvanized for my seedlings (smaller size tag) and still some of the 1"x3" (approximately) tags also but don't expect them to last too long.

For all the tags (including those for club plants), I've switched to the stainless steel legs. Galvanized wires just corrode in the soil and the legs get shorter and shorter as I have to break the bottoms off.

Kenny, thanks for the tip about the label printing program on PlantStep. I'll check it out when I have a little time.
