Wheezy ~ Wind and sunlight will help dry those soggy leaves right up. I'm waiting until April to clean up my irises, the nights still get below freezing here. Those soggy leaves will just have to wait a few more weeks.

Evelyn ~ I hope you can get out to the gardens today.

I check my rhizomes to see if any of the soggy leaves have caused rot. I gently move my fingers below the mushy leaves or gently pick up the soggy leaves until I see/feel for the rhizome. So far so good, my iris rhizomes are still rock hard.
Not only people give others signs, but plants do too.
