Ok - this is just my opinion - but I don't like or use acronyms at all. They are an impediment to good communication which is exactly what we are trying to do here - communicate. I understand that they are a tool to make it faster/easier to type. But even still, if I use one, I define it with the first use.

Most people don't spend the time that I do here - they bop in and out to get their answers - and if they can't figure it out in a few minutes, they are going to go somewhere else.

Is it so hard to type the word "tutorial" in the subject line rather than "(*T*)"? It's five characters vs. eight characters. I don't know - if it were me, I would just type the word - or put it in all caps if it needs to have attention drawn to it.

Again - this is just me - and I know there are lots of ways of doing things. But when I build or visit a website, I try to not think what is easiest for the moderator, but what is easiest for a new user. This site will be best for all involved (owner, frequent users, infrequent users) the more traffic we can generate. And one key to that is making it user-friendly.

Again, just my opinion and I respect everyone else's.

Carol
