@archtangent, I was surprised to find that both hellebores and peonies would survive in North Carolina. I expected both to hate the hot humid summers. Instead both appear to thrive. Obviously I was happy to hear that as I then promptly planted both!
How is A2 doing? Been awhile since I have been there. I grew up in Michigan and went to U of M.
