Bare with me, I am NOT a fan of water propagation. I found a really good deal on a top cutting from a Seller I frequently visit, and he propagates all his monsteras in Water. I don't know why, I genuinely would prefer to pot these babies up in their long-term chunky medium and let them fortify their roots. But here we are, the cutting is lovely, healthy, and has been in my care for the last 10 days in water with an air stone as I wanted to acclimate her to my home, humidity, temp and light before any repotting was done and didn't want to shock her further. But I don't want to keep her in water much longer for the reasons explained above.
Does anyone have advice into how to best transition her? I have thought about Leca with nutrient water, but would that even make a difference? Or should I just risk it and go straight into soil? I'm planning to use my preferred mix, would be somewhere along the lines of: Chunky Perlite (or Pumice, I have a ton), Bark chips, Horticultural Charcoal, Warm Castings and Coco Coir (I have at home a ton of Ocean Fox Farm and Peat Moss if you guys recommend I replace the coco coir).
I'm telling you, we need more people not water propping these babies!! Photos below of the Albo in question. Let me now your thoughts, I appreciate any input that might help.
