I would like to add that you want to be careful with watering when the overnight lows are high - I let almost all my Aloes sit without water if the overnight lows are consistently above 85. Watering Aloes especially those in pots does not provide the overall environmental cooling that a good rain shower does and when it is that hot at night they have issues with their respiration which being wet tends to exacerbate.

One quick note: the absolute heat of the day here is more towards 4 PM, than midday, and that extreme heat with the more low angle sun actually tends to hurt the plants here more readily that the direct overhead sun. I suspect it has to do with more sun light reaching the pot to heat the soil and also being able to reach areas of the plant that are not generally exposed at greater sun angles.
