An acquaintance has given up trying to salvage this plant that has rot. I picked it up this morning and washed all the soil away from the roots. The roots look and feel fairly strong. This plant was root bound and the soil was moist, I'm thinking it was staying too wet. Anyhow there appears to be some rot on the upper branches. I was going to cut these branches until I reached only white stems. How long should I wait before repotting in a well draining soil? Any other ideas are welcome so please advise if there are other measures to be taken to save this beauty. Thanks for all the help. Anole
