I have a tree sapling that I was almost certain was a Northern Catalpa for the longest time. The tree I harvested the seeds from seemed to be a Northern Catalpa, with heart shaped leaves and wider seed pods. Recently, I noticed that some of its leaves had these extra points on them, resembling the Yellow Catalpa, or Chinese Catalpa. The leaves I've seen on this tree are both the classic heart shape and the extra pointed hearts. Could the tree possibly be a hybrid?

The first three photos are of my sapling, and the last one is an adult tree in the grove where I collected seeds from. This tree has a Northern Catalpa's white flowers and thick seed pods, but has pointed leaves like the Chinese Catalpa.
