We don't have possums here, and I haven't seen raccoons in our area in years. We had a raccoon pox that went through in '06 and killed off every single raccoon in the area. Haven't seen any since, plus I haven't seen any signs of raccoon damage with garbage or whatnot.
It was a sad sad morning. And I really can't understand why coops are so damned expensive! Now, this is an extreme example, but a coop for $1400? Why?

Looks like the average is around $325. I can't justify that cost to myself. I just can't.
