Will not be so difficult, a lot of different method by different people, means can be easily grown.
What I did
- use sterile and fine media, can be sands, cocopeat, perlite, fine pumice, charcoal, fine lava rock , or mixed of those
- soak the seeds for 2 hours
- fill media half pot, make it completely wet, then let the water drain for 30 minutes
- sow the seeds, thin cover the seeds with media roughly 1 mm
- cover the pot with plastic to maintain the moisture ( if you see too much water build up at the plastic the next morning, you may need to make some holes on the plastic, the purpose is to keep moisture, not to let the seeds and seedling dries out )
- if the seeds are good, they will sprout in 3 days to 2 weeks.
- monitor the media, make sure the media has enough moisture for the seedlings
- when they have 2 leaves, gradually introduce some sunlight and gradually open the plastic cover.
- when they have 4 leaves, or the height around 4 cm, I will add additional 1 cm of the media, as the trunk is too long as to compare with their roots.
- when you feel that they are strong enough, then repot them..
you may check the adenium challenge thread, I just sowed hundreds of seeds today, but those are expired seeds, no idea whether they can sprout or not, if they can sprout, I will make some updates in there. the pictures there is the position before I cover the seeds with a thin layer of media and plastics
