I'm trying to individually pot up my haworthia seedlings and I plan to use a completely gritty mix. I'd like to use pumice (with added coco coir or potting soil - or regular fertilizing), but I have no idea where to get it. Often, it can be purchased under the title "dry stall", as a bedding for farm animals. Unfortunately, searching for dry stall also results in "Stall DRY" products, which are a completely different medium with undesirable attributes. I was hoping to find it in a hardware store or something of the sort, but I may have to resort to purchasing it online. Does anybody know of good, affordable sources of large-particle pumice, or other lava rock/medium to use? Thanks I tip my hat to you.
