Just beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us, David. I used to live (3 years) not that far from your area when I was in high school. Dad was USAF stationed at Ft. Leavenworth teaching air tactics at the Army's Command and Staff College there. I LOVED the 4 distinct seasons you get in Kansas. Sadly, I had to move away my senior year when Dad was stationed in the Tidewater area of Virginia. Kansas was the only place I had ever lived for at least 3 years until I left home for college. That was the hardest move ever for me.
