Several years ago I "rescued" some daylilies from an overgrown stretch of road near my house. I am not sure how they got there since there is no house. They were across the street for a house that had daylilies (they have since been removed
) so they might have come from there. Who knows, all I know is that no one was taking care of them at that point. I dug them up and planted them in my garden and called them my Wild Dunloe daylilies (after the street name).
They are of course NOIDS, but I like them. One bunch must have been mixed or had a seedling growing in there as there are definitely two kinds of flowers. I like them both. These are my WIld Dunloe Purples. I had one planted elsewhere (location F3) that appears to be the same of flower as one of the mixed ones. What do you guys think? Same flower for locations E16 and F3?
Dunloe Wild Purple #1 2 location E16
Dunloe Wild Purple 5-15 E16 FFO and Dunloe Wild Purple location F3
Dunloe Wild Purple 2 5-15 E16 FFO
This last one is definitely different. I like it and wish I knew if it was registered.
