I snagged a hand-crank beater at an antique shop before my daughter was born. She made a bunch of pudding and jello with it, thought she was really hot stuff! She's always been in the kitchen with me... experimenting with different spices, learning various things according to her interest (and coordination LOL)... now that she's 12, she's making stir fry, and I am HER sous chef!
