ugh, well ill have to get an id on those in the future.
Well I potted all of the cuttings up. (don't worry I shortened the stems)
I have observed the following:
Cuttings with a pure new growth stem - that is not brown (Probably light pink/green) Root slower for most arboreum type species, and arboreum hybrids. An exception to this is Aeonium 'lily pad' which seems to root pretty well with a new growth stem.
Cuttings with a partially brown stem, at least 1 cm of old brown stem root faster, within 2 weeks.
Then again I grow lots of hybrids. Maybe the hybrids are more vigorous at rooting then pure species?
