Hello from downunder! New member here keen to learn more about colocasia from anyone interested in sharing ideas and general chats about this wonderful genus.
I have been growing colocasia for a few years now, but recently moved house which meant starting my colocasia ponds and bog gardens all over again. Attached is a photo of my tallest Fontanesii (taken today) in one of my new bogs. We are just entering into the start of Summer here now and following a cooler Spring than usual, the heat is finally turning up and helping my transplanted elephant ears to settle in and gain some height. The Fontanesii is just beginning to send out stolons and a pup appeared behind the main plant today. I have around 15 different species of colocasia now and also keenly grow xanthosoma, homalomena and alocasia too.
