Good Morning all,
Tom...Brrrrrrrr! That's cold. Too cold for me but I am sure the horses appreciate your dedication. I'm sure that hot coffee and maybe a warm breakfast will be appreciated by you when you come back inside. Your chicken dinner sounds good. I'll have to put some chicken on the menu for next week.
Sean...yummy looking sandwich and side. Nothing wrong with an easy meal once in a while and your sandwich sounded piled high with lots of good stuff. I like taking a break once in a while and just having some simple and satisfying food that doesn't take all day to prepare.
Rosie...cut little garden statue but I think I'd leave him behind also. YIKES---alligators
. Remind me not to complain about the pests here in AZ. At least they are small enough for me to step on or swat away. I like this little yoga froggy (as I nick-named him). He can occupy that little sunny corner in the back yard and as Sean said, give me miles of smiles.
Dinner last night was steak. We cooked up some boneless NY Strip steaks on the grill. Came out wonderful. Been a while since we had good steaks. Made a salad and some Curly Fries for sides. Sheep Thrills red was the wine of the evening.
Still have about half a steak left over as does the husband. That can be revisited later for steak fajitas.
Today we have to head out of town for a doctor's appointment. Most likely will have a good lunch and be home later. Have home made minestrone soup waiting for us when we get back. That with some brown-n-serve French rolls will make a perfect light dinner.
Need to get a move on it this morning. Will catch up with all later.
