Well, I've finally found something useful about Bradford pears. I was watching my backyard for birds and saw cardinals in my small tree eating the little hard pears they produce. Otherwise, I think they're trash trees. A town here, Fayetteville, is actually paying residents to remove the Bradford pears, then they are replacing them with free native trees better suited to the landscape. My tree is a seedling of a larger one next door.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.
