I wrote this clearance racks article several years ago, and to this day, I still frequent clearance racks especially around winter time. Mostly I collect the $1/$2 clearance succulents (and pots) but this winter, the succulent combinations in shallow pots were great price as well.

Lowe's is my favorite store. I buy a lot of my hard to find desert roses there. But it is my favorite place to buy succulents too!

These were clearance succulents I bought from Lowe's at 50% off December to late January ($5 to $10). I went back to Lowe's this weekend and all succulents are now full price!

Some of these I would repot/have repotted to prevent over crowding. It would be very interesting to keep track of how well they will grow a few months/years from now.
